The Delhi Police’s Special Cell has successfully concluded its hunt for the suspects involved in the June 11 firing incident outside a gym linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa. In a high-stakes operation carried out in the early hours of Thursday, June 25, 2026, authorities arrested two key shooters associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following a brief but intense exchange of fire in West Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area.
The suspects, identified as Haqeeqat and Sagar, had been absconding since the shooting took place. Their apprehension marks the arrest of all four individuals allegedly responsible for the intimidation attempt.
Acting on precise intelligence that the two shooters had returned to West Delhi on Wednesday night with the intention of executing another criminal conspiracy, Special Cell teams intercepted them near Meera Bagh.

The firing was quickly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate after a viral social media post, allegedly authored by their operative Anil Pandit—currently believed to be based in the United States—claimed responsibility. The post specifically targeted the gym due to its alleged association with Guru Randhawa, citing the singer’s purported proximity to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, a frequent target of the Bishnoi gang’s intimidation tactics.
This recent development brings the total number of arrests in the case to four. Previously, the Delhi Police Crime Branch had tracked down and arrested two other suspects, Arman (19) and Tushar (21), in Bahadurgarh on June 15, 2026.
Investigators have since established that the four shooters were operating under the direct instructions of their overseas-based handlers, Anil Pandit and Hariram Jat (alias Harry Boxer). The police probe reconstructed the shooters’ escape routes and analyzed technical footprints spanning nearly 100 kilometers to trace the movement of the gang across Delhi and Haryana.
“With the arrest of Haqeeqat and Sagar, we have effectively dismantled the entire field unit responsible for this attack,” a senior police official stated. “Our investigation into the broader network and the overseas handlers remains ongoing as we seek to tighten the net around those operating from abroad.”
