The “God of Masses,” Nandamuri Balakrishna, is ready to dominate the box office once again. Following the massive blockbuster success of Veera Simha Reddy, Balakrishna has reunited with hitmaker director Gopichand Malineni for his highly anticipated 111th project, officially titled Dada.
The makers unveiled the official title through an aggressive, high-octane intro video and striking promotional poster, showcasing Balakrishna in a fierce, rogue gangster avatar. Bankrolled by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the prestigious Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film is locked for a grand worldwide theatrical release on December 24, serving as a blockbuster Christmas and early New Year treat for fans.
The title glimpse of Dada—tagged as “The King of Chaos”—delivers a heavy-dose mass spectacle. Set in a tense police station environment in Mumbai, the video features Balakrishna sitting casually on a chair amidst a heavy cordon of armed police officers.
In trademark Balakrishna style, the actor stares down authority and delivers a goosebump-inducing dialogue:
“Naaku guri pettadaniki ontlo pogaru, veeliki trigger unte saripodu, bullets ki ballupu undali, guns ki guts undali.”
(Having the courage to point a gun at me and a finger on the trigger isn’t enough. The bullets need to have power, and the guns need to have guts.)
