The original “Border” depicted the Battle of Longewala, one of the most pivotal clashes during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, with an ensemble cast featuring stalwarts such as Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff, and Pooja Bhatt. The sequel will be produced by T Series and JP Films, written by Nidhi Dutta and will be directed by Anurag Singh. Nidhi Dutta is none other than the daughter of legendary filmmaker J P Dutta.
