The actor’s home, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, has already seen major security upgrades in recent months. Following earlier threats linked to the Bishnoi gang and the shocking murder of former minister Baba Siddique in October 2024, Salman Khan had installed bulletproof glass on the balcony of his first-floor apartment.
His security personnel were also increased, and multiple surveillance cameras were installed around the building. A team of private security and Mumbai Police personnel maintain a 24/7 presence near the premises.
Law enforcement suspects possible links between the latest threat and the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has previously issued public warnings against Salman Khan. Gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, currently under investigation for multiple criminal activities, had earlier named Salman Khan as a target, reigniting old tensions related to the 1998 Blackbuck case.
Though no direct link has yet been confirmed in this most recent threat, investigators are not ruling out gang involvement and are exploring all angles.
