Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan has hit an unexpected roadblock during the final leg of his professional commitments. The actor recently suffered a severe knee injury while filming high-intensity action sequences for his upcoming, yet-untitled sports drama directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kabir Khan. Known for giving his absolute best to physical roles—most notably his transformation for Chandu Champion—Aaryan pushed his limits for the demanding physical sequences before the unfortunate mishap occurred.
The injury has brought a temporary halt to the concluding schedule of the movie, leaving fans and the film fraternity concerned about his health. Currently, the actor is under strict medical supervision while doctors prepare him for an upcoming surgical procedure.
The unfortunate incident took place during the final two days of the movie’s shoot. The production schedule had entered its most demanding phase, focusing on heavy action and high-octane stunt sequences. The injury strikes at the very tail-end of his sports drama with Kabir Khan, meaning that only a minuscule portion of the film remains to be wrapped up once he fully recovers. Interestingly, this project also marks a major milestone in Aaryan’s career trajectory, as he is taking over production responsibilities alongside Dopamine Studios for this upcoming collaboration with Khan.
