Salman Khan and Nayanthara’s Action Entertainer Officially Locks Eid 2027 Release

The “Tiger” of Bollywood has officially reclaimed his favourite festive window. Salman Khan has announced that his upcoming action entertainer will hit global screens on Eid 2027.

Marking a series of “firsts,” the project brings together Salman Khan and acclaimed director Vamshi Paidipally for the very first time. Adding to the massive scale of the film, South Indian “Lady Superstar” Nayanthara reportedly joins the cast as the female lead, making this one of the most anticipated Pan-India collaborations in recent memory.

The journey for this cinematic spectacle officially began this week in Mumbai. The superstar shared a heartwarming update on social media, featuring a glimpse of the Muhurat Shot. The ceremony, attended by the core technical crew and the producers, marks the formal commencement of the film’s first schedule.

The production team has reportedly designed a high-energy action sequence for the opening leg of the shoot. Insiders suggest that the film, tentatively titled SVC63, will feature Salman in a never-before-seen avatar that blends his signature charisma with the gritty, stylized action for which Vamshi Paidipally is known.

The announcement of SVC63 signifies a major shift in the Indian film landscape. Dil Raju, one of the most successful producers in the South Indian film industry under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, is spearheading this project. This marks his most ambitious foray into the Hindi market to date.

Director Vamshi Paidipally, who recently tasted massive success with the family-action drama Varisu, is tasked with helming this “Mega Project.” Known for his ability to balance high-stakes action with strong emotional beats, Paidipally’s collaboration with Salman Khan is being viewed as a masterstroke. The director reportedly spent over a year developing the script specifically to suit Salman’s larger-than-life persona while maintaining a modern, global appeal.

While the official character details remain under wraps, the casting of Nayanthara has already created a digital storm. Following her successful Hindi debut in Jawan, Nayanthara’s pairing with Salman Khan is expected to draw massive footfalls across both North and South Indian markets.

The synergy between the “Bhai” of Bollywood and the “Lady Superstar” of the South represents a strategic move to dominate the Pan-India box office. Trade analysts predict that this pairing will ensure a record-breaking opening, particularly in the South Indian territories where both actors command a gargantuan fan following.

For over a decade, the Eid festival has been synonymous with Salman Khan’s blockbusters. From Wanted and Dabangg to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the superstar has consistently delivered record-breaking hits during this window. By locking Eid 2027 more than a year in advance, the makers have issued a clear “no-vacancy” sign to other major releases.

The decision to target 2027 allows the production team ample time for the extensive VFX and international action choreography planned for the film. Dil Raju is reportedly sparing no expense, with filming locations planned across India and several European destinations to give the film a truly global scale.

With SVC63, Salman Khan is clearly signalling a return to the “pure masala” roots that made him a global icon, but with a sophisticated, modern twist provided by Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju. The combination of a locked festive date, a powerhouse director, and a stellar female lead makes this the film to beat in the 2027 box office race.

As the cameras roll in Mumbai, the countdown to Eid 2027 has officially begun.
