In a brazen act of violence, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle fired over two dozen rounds outside the residence of popular YouTuber and reality TV star Elvish Yadav in Gurugram’s Sector 57. The shocking incident, which took place early Sunday morning, has sent shockwaves through the community and prompted an immediate police investigation. Although no injuries were reported, the attack has raised serious questions about the safety of public figures.
The firing occurred between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM, a time when most residents of the upscale locality were still asleep. According to police, three masked individuals on a bike arrived outside Yadav’s residence. Two of the attackers reportedly dismounted and opened fire, spraying over 25 to 30 bullets at the ground and first floors of the house. The bullets left visible marks on doors, windows, and walls, and shattered a glass pane.
Initial visuals from the scene show the extent of the damage, with multiple bullet holes scarring the property. While Elvish Yadav stays on the second and third floors of the property, his family members along with the caretaker were inside the house when the attack took place. Fortunately, all of them escaped unharmed. The swift and targeted nature of the attack, which lasted for a few moments before the assailants fled the scene, suggests a clear attempt to intimidate and send a strong message.

Following the incident, a team from the Gurugram Police, including the Crime Branch, rushed to the spot. They have cordoned off the area and are meticulously collecting forensic evidence. A key part of the investigation will be the analysis of CCTV footage from the surrounding area, which may help identify the attackers and their motive.
A family member, in a statement to the media, revealed that the family had not received any prior threats. The person also confirmed that Elvish Yadav was not in Haryana at the time of the attack, as he was traveling for professional commitments. This statement adds a layer of mystery to the incident, as it raises the question of what could have motivated such a severe and unprovoked attack.
This is not the first time Elvish Yadav has been at the centre of a controversy. The popular YouTuber, who won Bigg Boss OTT 2, has been involved in multiple legal issues. In a high-profile case from November 2023, he was arrested by the Noida Police on allegations of providing snake venom for rave parties. While he was later granted bail, the case is still ongoing, with the Supreme Court staying the trial court proceedings. The attack on his home, while currently without a clear motive, has once again brought him into the national spotlight.
The incident is also reminiscent of a similar attack on Haryanvi singer Rahul Fazilpuria’s car in Gurugram, which occurred just a few days ago. As the police continue their probe, the focus remains on identifying and apprehending the attackers and understanding the motive behind this shocking act of violence.
