The Queen actress has officially announced the opening of her dream café, The Mountain Story, in her hometown, Manali. The café will welcome its first guests on February 14, 2025, Valentine’s Day.
Taking to Instagram, Kangana shared a heartwarming video and photos of her café, expressing her joy about the new venture. Interestingly, she extended a special invitation to fellow Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, wishing for her to be the café’s first guest.
Dream of Kangana Ranaut Comes True: A Restaurant in Manali
In a throwback interview with Rajeev Masand in 2013, Kangana was asked about her vision for the next 10 years. She had expressed her desire to own a restaurant and create a space where people could enjoy food in a serene atmosphere. Fast forward to 2025, and Kangana has turned that dream into reality.
Kangana stated, “This is a childhood dream coming alive. I have travelled across different countries over the years, tasting a variety of global cuisines. Now, I am excited to bring some unique and special recipes to my café in Manali.”
She also revealed that The Mountain Story will offer an exclusive menu featuring international flavours combined with local Himachali delicacies.

The café’s official Instagram page (@themountainstory) shared the first pictures and videos of its stunning interiors and breathtaking mountain views. Nestled in the serene landscapes of Manali, the café features a cozy wooden décor, outdoor seating, and a warm ambiance—perfect for a relaxing meal in the lap of nature.
Kangana, who personally supervised the café’s design, emphasized that she wanted to create a place where people could connect with nature, enjoy delicious food, and experience peace and tranquillity.
The Journey of Kangana Ranaut from Bollywood to Politics
Apart from her entrepreneurial venture, Kangana recently made headlines by winning the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi on a BJP ticket. She has been actively participating in politics while continuing her work in Bollywood.
Kangana was last seen in the political drama Emergency, where she also made her directorial debut. The film co-stars Anupam Kher and Shreyas Talpade.
