The incredible box office phenomenon Hanuman Ansh is officially going global. Production powerhouse Hombale Films has announced that the spiritual drama will expand its reach to international markets starting September 11, 2026, with distribution handled by Hombale Overseas in strategic collaboration with local partner Phars Film.
Confirming the massive global rollout, Hombale shared an official statement on social media:
“A story rooted in faith. A journey beyond borders. We are proud to take #HanumanAnsh to international audiences through Hombale Overseas. The spiritual journey of Maharaj-ji reaches the world, as Hanuman Ansh arrives worldwide on September 11, 2026.”
Directed by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi and produced under the SWAMbhu Media Network banner, the film features Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan K. Anand in prominent roles, tracing the profound spiritual life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharaj-ji.
The path to glory for Hanuman Ansh is a textbook definition of a modern box office miracle. When the film originally hit domestic screens on August 7, 2026, it did so with virtually zero mainstream buzz or high-profile marketing.
- The Quiet Opening: The film opened to a dismal Rs 10 lakh on its first day, struggling to secure adequate screens or footfalls.
- The Underwhelming Fortnight: Throughout its first week, the film managed a modest Rs 1.08 crore, which further dipped during its second week, bringing a combined collection of just Rs 1.48 crore over the first 14 days.
Industry trackers initially wrote off the project as another small-budget casualty swallowed up by a crowded theatrical window. However, fate had entirely different plans.
The turnaround for Hanuman Ansh began building momentum in its third week. Fuelled entirely by organic, emotional word-of-mouth recommendations spreading across social media platforms, audiences began flocking back to cinema halls.
- The Third-Week Phenomenon: Defying standard box office trends where films fade after week two, Hanuman Ansh registered an exponential increase of over 2,500%, raking in a striking Rs 10.40 crore in its third week alone.
- The Record-Breaking Fourth Weekend: The momentum snowballed further into week four, where single-day spikes saw the movie pull in staggering numbers that outperformed major new theatrical releases.
Made on a remarkably modest production budget of under Rs 2 crore, Hanuman Ansh has turned conventional economics on its head.
- Domestic Haul: The film has comfortably crossed the Rs 40 crore milestone at the domestic box office, translating to a massive gross collection exceeding Rs 47 crore.
- Profitability: Generating more than 20 times its production budget, the film stands as one of the most profitable cinematic ventures of the year, proving that sincere storytelling and spiritual connection can triumph over commercial star power.
With Hombale Overseas now backing its international deployment, the miraculous journey of Maharaj-ji and Hanuman Ansh is all set to inspire global audiences starting September 11.
