The Award was presented by the Smt. Usha Mangeshkar, elder sister of Lata Mangeshkar. Apart from Amitabh Bachhan, A.R. Rahman, Randeep Hood, Ashok Saraf, Roopkumar Rathod and Padmini Kolhapure were also awarded the Award for their contribution in their respective field.
