Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 3 Gets Official Title Drishyam: The Conclusion; New Poster Unveiled

The mystery that has captivated millions across the nation is finally heading toward its ultimate resolution. Superstar Ajay Devgn is officially returning as the shrewd and protective family man Vijay Salgaonkar for the third and final instalment of the Hindi Drishyam franchise.

The makers have officially announced the film’s title as Drishyam The Conclusion, locking in a major theatrical release date of October 2, 2026. Unveiled alongside the film’s first official poster, the announcement confirms that the high-stakes cat-and-mouse game between Vijay Salgaonkar and the law is set for its monumental finale.

The first-look poster for Drishyam The Conclusion highlights Vijay Salgaonkar’s unwavering mindset, carrying the powerful logline: “Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai” (My truth, my right, only my family). The film brings back the iconic principal cast members, ensuring a seamless conclusion to the narrative arc.

  • Ajay Devgn reprises his defining role as Vijay Salgaonkar.
  • Tabu returns as the relentless IG Meera Deshmukh.
  • Shriya Saran steps back into the role of Nandini Salgaonkar.
  • Rajat Kapoor also rejoins the core cast, alongside high-profile new additions including Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Panorama Studios, the film is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also co-wrote the script alongside Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. Principal photography has already wrapped up, and the film is currently in post-production.

To fully understand the weight of Drishyam The Conclusion, a look back at the journey of Vijay Salgaonkar highlights the immense tension built across the previous two parts:

  • Drishyam (2015): The franchise introduced Vijay, a cable operator and movie enthusiast living a peaceful, quiet life in Goa with his wife Nandini and two daughters. When an accidental murder occurs inside their home involving the arrogant son of a high-ranking Inspector General (played by Tabu), Vijay uses his wits, alibi-building techniques learned from movies, and sheer determination to outsmart the police and protect his family from the clutches of the law.
  • Drishyam 2 (2022): Set seven years later, the Salgaonkars thought they had buried their past. However, fragmented evidence resurfaced, and a renewed police investigation pushed the family to the absolute brink. Vijay had to deploy an even more complex, multi-layered web of deception, planting false trails and manipulating confessions to ensure his family walked free once more, ending with a brilliant psychological checkmate against the legal system.

While the Hindi adaptation prepares to draw its curtain on Vijay Salgaonkar’s journey, the original Malayalam universe achieved massive success earlier this year with Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam 3, which crossed ₹242 crore globally following its release on May 21, 2026.

As anticipation reaches a fever pitch, audiences can look forward to seeing how Vijay protects his family one last time when Drishyam The Conclusion arrives in theatres on October 2, 2026.
