Bollywood powerhouse Ranveer Singh is officially diving into uncharted cinematic territory. Following the monumental commercial success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar The Revenge, the star has kicked off principal photography for his most ambitious project to date: the high-concept, end-of-the-world action thriller Pralay.
The film has officially gone on floors with its initial shooting schedule rolling out on live locations across Mumbai. Adding major corporate and creative muscle to the venture, Ananya Birla’s Birla Studios has officially come onboard as a Co-Producer, alongside True Story Films and Singh’s own banner, Maa Kasam Films.
Pralay brings together an eclectic mix of top-tier technical talent and fresh onscreen pairings:
- The Lead Cast: Ranveer Singh anchors the spectacular narrative, joined by breakout star Kalyani Priyadarshan (celebrated for her powerful performance in Lokah), who makes her much-anticipated Hindi feature film debut.

Set against the familiar, vibrant pulse of Mumbai reimagined under catastrophic circumstances, the original story explores a world on the brink of total collapse due to a massive, unprecedented crisis.
